Kickstart STEM
Price: $150 for 8-week session
This course is designed to not only build STEM knowledge and critical thinking skills in your child, but also foster a lifelong curiosity for a wide variety of STEM topics. Each week, students participate in a different hands-on activity, carefully crafted to be engaging, informational, and inspirational. These lessons cover subjects ranging from aeronautics, to cellular biology, to the physics behind extreme weather.
Kickstart Scratch
Price: $150 for 8-week session
Kickstart Scratch aims to help your child gain proficiency with the Scratch programming interface, and at the same time develop the skills and coding mindset essential for future programmers in any language. Our project-based curriculum emphasizes creative problem solving, and seeks to help your child develop an ongoing passion for coding.
Kickstart Python
Price: $150 for 8-week session
Kickstart Python uses creative projects and challenging puzzle sets to teach your child the fundamental skills and powerful applications of the Python coding language. The cumulative curriculum covers coding essentials, ranging from basic variable types to complex if/else logic structures and nested loops. This course is designed for 3rd-5th graders, and the recommended prerequisite is Kickstart Scratch.
3D Engineering
Price: $180 for 8-week session
This course is an introduction to one of the most lucrative skills in a huge variety of scientific, architectural, industrial, and artistic fields: 3D modeling and design. Through a series of project and challenge based lessons, this course teaches your students how to create their own designs using the tools of the professional software Sketchup, and how to think like a 3D designer.
Engineering Crafting
Price: $150 for 8-week session
Does your child love building things or taking them apart? Engineering Crafting is a course centered around the thrill of creation: designing and building devices to solve problems. Each week is a new challenge with different constraints, structured to introduce your child to the engineering design process and have a great time doing it.
